arrival by car

Any major motorways in Southern Germany lead to Munich (see blue signs on the map). Avoid the motorway circle A99 around Munich, just go straight into the city and join the inner city highway circle "Mittlerer Ring" (marked bold orange). Follow signs to the centre of Munich (Zentrum) and to the Munich Central Rail Station (Hauptbahnhof). From the main station follow the inner city ring south, called "Altstadtring" (counter-clockwise to Sendlinger Tor Platz). Ample parking can be found on the public parking spaces around the office, or in paid parking garages indicated by a blue sign with a white “P”.

arrival by train

All trains arriving in Munich pass through or end at the Munich Central Rail Station (Hauptbahnhof). Follow the signs to the Underground rail lines (U-Bahn) indicated by a large blue sign marked with “U” (Munich Underground plan). Take the Underground rail line 1, 2, 7, or 8 in the direction of "Sendlinger Tor". Exit the train at Sendlinger Tor and follow signs to Sendlinger Straße. On the street level, go through the stone arch and cross the cobble stone street to the building block facing you on your right. The entrance of charismathics, Sendlinger Straße number 47, is located between a travel agency and a clothing store.

If you intend to rent a car, all major companies are located in the main building of the central station.

arrival by plane / public transport

All planes land at the main Munich Airport, 35km north of Munich city centre. Lufthansa´s Star Alliance partners will arrive in terminal 2, all other airlines reach terminal 1.
Arriving at Munich Airport (MUC), take local train (S-Bahn) located below ground level between the two terminals. Take the train line “S8” which departs every 20 minutes in the direction of Munich centre-city (Munich public transportation plan). The train will take approximately 40 minutes to reach the city centre, Marienplatz. Exit the train at “Marienplatz“, following signs to the Underground rail lines (U-Bahn), following the signs to the rail line U6, U3, in the direction of "Sendlinger Tor". Trains ending in "Klinikum Großhadern" and "Fürstenried West" will take you in the direction of Sendlinger Tor. Take the U6 one stop, exit the train at Sendlinger Tor, and follow signs to Sendlinger Straße. On the street level, go through the stone arch and cross the cobble stone street to the building block facing you on your right. arrival by plane / car rental

All planes land at the main Munich Airport (MUC), 35km north of Munich city centre. Lufthansa’s Star Alliance partners will arrive in terminal 2, all other airlines reach terminal 1. The rental car companies are located at the entrance of terminal 1. Exit the airport following the signs in the direction of Munich (München). Take the highway A92 for 10km. Follow signs to Munich, exiting the A92 on the A9 southbound. Stay on the A9 for about 18km to the termination of the highway. Follow signs to Munich centre (Zentrum), and central station (Hauptbahnhof). (See arrival by car for further details)
