You may compare your current charismathics driver and tools with the available software updates on this page. Charismathics labeled products currently support the following operating systems:

Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 (32 and 64bit)

Please check the hardware device manager in your system control panel for the correct choice among the following drivers. You may also see the name of your USB device as pop-up field when plugging the token into one of your USB ports. Please note that we currently do not recommend using the generic Microsoft CCID drivers, as USB token devices may still malfunction independently of the hardware vendor.

Apple Macintosh OS X

First, please doublecheck the currently installed drivers on your computer by clicking ´Go - Go To Folder´ in your ´Finder´ menu. Then enter the path to the smart card reader driver directory: ´/usr/libexec/SmartCardServices/drivers/´. For a new installation on MacOS X machines, please download the dedicated driver. Then double-click on the downloaded file. Depending on the file type (.tar.gz or .zip), file and folders will be extracted to the current working directory. Change to the newly created folder and double-click the icon that looks like an opened paper box to start the installer (admin privileges may be necessary). Then follow on instruction on the screen.

Please check your set-up for the availability of the Linux generic CCID token driver. charismathics is currently not offering a proprietary driver for such client operating system software.
