How to set Safari up for secure connections?
TokenD is the only way through which certifcate based operations can occur in Apple native applications like Safari.
- Step 1: Enroll valid certificate on your smart card for secure connection to your secure web page
- Step 2: Open key chain access and make sure your smart card certificate is trusted
- Step 3: Open your Safari browser and enter your secure web page URL
- Step 4: You will be prompted to enter the smart card PIN
